Error Message ---- Value Does Not Fall Within The Expected Range

I keep getting this error message every time I lauch Outlook.

"Value Does Not Fall Within The Expected Range'".  It has an ACT label over the message.

Any idea how to remove this?

Thanks

Re: Error Message ---- Value Does Not Fall Within The Expected Range

ACT! 2012 is not compatible with Windows 8 nor is it compatible with Office 2013. It could be possible that the error is occurring due to an instability with this setup. If the error message is occurring just when you try to launch Outlook, and you're able to open Outlook after closing the error message, you might want to check the add-ins and see if the Act Outlook Add-in is listed in the list of add-ins and possibly set it to inactive as a troubleshooting step to see if you can get Outlook to launch without the error, since it won't be trying to load the add-in for it.

You can accomplish this by using the steps below:

  1. Open Outlook
  2. Click File and then select Options. The Outlook Options dialog box appears.
  3. Click Add-Ins on the left.
  4. Click COM Add-Ins and click Go.
  5. Disable ACT! Outlook add-in
  6. Restart Outlook and test
