I'm getting the following error message when I try to open my email.
ActEmail MFC Application has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
I'm using Act version 6.0

If you are using McAfee, then this may resolve your problem: Answer ID 12132, Error Message: "ACT.exe Has Generated Errors and Will Need to Be Closed by Windows.....

It is possible that Act! has become unstable. When this happens, the only remedy is to remove/re-install Act!. Instructions can be found here: Answer ID 10506, How to Uninstall and Reinstall ACT!.
