Yes running Windows 10 Home 64 bit operating & 64 bit processor
I used PC Mover to try and move everything from the old laptop to new. Have always had good success with this in the past. That said....I think stuff was moved that wasn't necessary needed.
In programs I am showing
SQL Server 2008 R2 (64-bit)
SQL Server 2008 R2 Native Client
SQL Server 2008 R2 Setup (English)
SQL Server 2008 Setup Support Files
SQL Server Browser
SQL Server Compact 3.5 SP2 ENU
SQL Server Compact 3.5 SP2 x64 ENU
SQL Server VSS Writer
If I don't need these I can just delete? If I need a different version to run ACT v21 can you provide a link to download it?

Here is what I would do.
1 - Uninstall Act Pro v21
2 - Uninstall all of the pieces labelled SQL Server 2008 R2
3 - Reinstall Act Pro v21
4 - Run Windows Update

Mark, In Services SQL Server (ACT7) and SQL Server Agent (ACT7) are both still listed with I try to start SQL Server (ACT7)
I the following error
Windows could not start the SQL Server (ACT7) service on Local Computer
Error 1067: The process terminated unexpectedly.
To clarify, it was responding with that same error before I delete the SQL Server 2008 R2 pieces
Just asking these questions before I try to reload it all over again. I want to get rid of anything that may be preventing ACT from loading correctly before I reinstall again.
Thoughts on next step?

I can change if from auto, delay, manual, disable. If I try to start it, that's when I get the error.
I haven't tried to reload ACT! yet. What's your thoughts on deleting SQL Server 2008 Setup Support Files ? It's 49.6 MB
