Envelopes

I am having a problem printing envelopes.  When I use "file" "print" "envelopes" I am able to print envelopes, but ACT wants to print 2 envelopes instead of one.  It does this on all envelope templates.  Does anyone else have this problem?  Any solutions?

Re: Envelopes

Are they printed with the same information?

Re: Envelopes

What build of ACT! from Help | about?

If not 10.0.1.199, maybe try the update?

You can download the current patch from http://www.act.com/support/updates/index.cfm

Re: Envelopes

Is the information the same on both?
How about if you merge 2 or more... is each doubled?

Re: Envelopes

Actually it's not duplicate envelopes, but rather blank envelopes. I just posted a separate thread about the problem. Sometimes it will be just one, and sometimes more... So if I do a lookup of 3 people, it will generate 4 envelopes, one of which is completely blank. Sometimes it will generate more than one blank envelope.

Re: Envelopes

Open the envelope template for editing and reduce the height of the Details section of the template to 3.6 inches. That should fix the problem.

Re: Envelopes

Aloha Roy,

I was having the same problem, but your recommendation fixed it.  So, can you help me with this problem?  The return address is not printing out completely, i.e. the margin is obviously off.  Is it just a matter of manually working with the margin until you get it right, or is there a set number for the left margin on a #10 envelope so that it doesn't get cut off?

Mahalo,

Jeff
