When I set up to send email as I go through the process
Tools-Preferences-email-email systems setup-next-select email system to use
Then the selection box is empty??? Nothing to select... Help! What do I do?

Followed the instructions in the post regarding uninstalling Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable -x86 220.127.116.1122. Did it and still no email systems listed. So then uninstalled ACT and reinstalled it... still no e-mail syatems listed. Do I need to unistall ACT synch as well? What else could be the problem?

After uninstalling the MS Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable, did you execute the file that is attached to the article? If you haven't, go ahead and save it to your desktop and run it. Here is a link to the article: KB Article 23426.
Removal of the ACT! Sync program should not affect this issue.

Is the fix here the same for Win7, ACT 2011, 64, and the add on QSalesData installed?
I see the Microsoft Visual C++ installed MULTIPLE times (86 and 64) from 2005 to 2012 including 2008 11 times all different versions and the 9.0.21022 has 2 versions installed.
