Email msgs not logged in history

I have ACT for Financial Professionals version 10 and use Outlook 2003 for email. My email messages used to log in the history for the email recipient but this no longer happens. I've searched thru the knowledge base, done everything that was recommended to do when this happens but have not had any luck. This is a great feature of ACT and I want to get this going. The only thing I have not done is reinstall ACT. I used a demo database and had the same issue. I use the ACT word processor for email creation not MS Word. Tried it using MS Word too but still not working. DOes this mean my only option is to reinstall ACT? Only want to reinstall if I know this is the only option. Any ideas as to what might have happened to cause this? Terry Giesbrecht VisionPlus Financial

Thanks! You hit is bang on... I did not have the ACT address book registered in Outlook. So glad to have this working again.

Try the steps below.

 

* Make sure the ACT! address book is added in Outlook

* End process on Act.outlook.service.exe

* Browse to the following folder and delete the contents inside.

       C:\Documents and Settings\<User_Name>\Application Data\ACT\ACT for Windows 10\HistoryQueue

* Open Act.outlook.service.exe

* Try to record history/attach to contact
