I would like to know why is the Act.Outlook.Service is installed if 20.1 doesn't use it?

I don't know.  I had my reseller do the install. I'm not technical.  Should I contact ACT! tech support?

I upgraded to 20.1 Update 6 and that seems to have resolved the duplicate email history issue.

I am on v21, with Update 7 already applied. (NB: this installation was not clean, but rather an in-place upgrade over v19.) It appears they didn't port the fix over to the v21 codebase, so I'm getting ready to experiment with the suggested fix of disabling Act.Outlook.Service in Task Manager.

 

Question: Should I also disable Act.Outlook64.Service? We are running the 32-bit version of Outlook 2013.
