So, as the heading states, after applying the SP1 update and Hotfix 1 to Act Premium 2013, the email field text is still red once you have hovered your mouse over it...any ideas?

While the hot fix contains the fix for this issue, affected layouts must be updated in the new build of the program (Tools > Design Layouts) for the email to stop turning red. Here is an article with more details: KB Article 30458
