Email error not correct address

I have a contact in Act that has the correct email in the field but, when I try to sent out of act to swiftpage it shows .Karin.   So I moved the email to the personal email field and it shows .Karin, and the correct email sending to both.    Any ideas where I can find the mysterious .Karin in the contact?

Re: Email error not correct address

I'm no expert, but my way of send email to one of my contacts is ...

Note: Do not forget to backup periodically  your database

After sending the mail, check that has been created the history record on the contact information

It's just an idea, good luck

Thanks but we use swiftpage for our email server - so I need to use the link to get to the template of choice.

Hi Shari,

Does this happen on just one contact, or all contacts?
If all contacts, does it happen on other databases?

Have you tried doing a universal search for .Karin and seeing where it exists?

Yes just one contact - we all use one database.  When I do a universal search for Karin it pulls up the one contact that is the issue.   I am going to recreate the contact from scratch and delete the old one that would be the best work around I think.

That would be one way to solve the issue, alternatively you could export that single contact to CSV and check in Excel for the Karin value, and find what field it's stored in within Act and remove it.
