Email doesn't WORK!

Email doesn't WORK!

Just out of the blue- I click on the email icon and an error message comes up: "Object reference not set to an instance of an object". And no email shows up.

If I click it again, another error message: "Act Email MFC application has stopped working"

 

My call to tech support was a waste of time- the guy was clueless.....

Which version of ACT! are you using?

 

Also have you looked at the knowledge base article listed below

 

Error: "Object Reference not set to an Instance of an Object"

Thanks Kurt,

Nope, didn't try that- but can't since I'm running Act 2012 and Outlook 2007 (the suggestion covered 2005). However, after doing another diagnostic and finding no problems, I did re-set my program to "Run as Administrator" ( as suggested) and it might have worked- so good call!!
