Email choices are empty again

I reinstalled ACT Pro 2011 because I did not have any choices to select in the email preferences box.  After the Re-Install, it gave me my choices and I selected Outlook (preferred).

I tried using email and get "ACT Email - MFC Application has stopped working" again and I also get the "Object Reference Not Set..." again.  Someone please help....

Re: Email choices are empty again

Hey thanks for the help.  I had check those, but it made no sense that a print spooler could effect an email or email-merge problem.  I was able to remove the USER ACCOUNT CONTROLS in control panel and get everything to work.  I don't like that solution, because that is the "warning system" that I am about to so something stupid to my computer, and I need that last "Are You Sure" message before I try making changes.  The error still occurs because you can see it in the Event Viewer.  Somehow ACT and OUTLOOK are having problems communicating, and my computer wants me to know it,.  I guess right now, I am ignoring the real problem.
