Email Conversion

I was using Act Email Editor when composing emails in Act!. I would like to start using Outlook. Do I need to cnvert the emails in my history to Outlook? If so how is this done. I will be upgrading to Act! 2011.

Thanks

Re: Email Conversion

No need to convert items already in history, they'll still be linked and able to be opened

Re: Email Conversion

Do they only open in Act Email or  do they open in Outlook?

Re: Email Conversion

If they were attached, in ACTEmail ... if the bopy was copied to History, then it's part of the database

Re: Email Conversion

It has been explained to me that I have the email attached to the history as an attachment. It has the complete email and any atatchements that may have been with it.  I looked at my Attachment folder C:\Users\Name\Documents\ACT\ACT for Windows 11\Databases\database files\Attachments and ther are over 5000 ima files. If I stop using Act Email and only use Outlook will I be able to see these emails in Outlook or will they have to open in Act Email.   Is there a way to convert them to the msg files or do I even need to.
