Editing multiple entries from Edit Mode?

Hello all,

In my Act! database I am trying to edit the work region for each of my clients.  The work region is in the "Main Info" tab of the client record and is a listbox allowing multiple entries.

I am wondering if it is possible to do multiple edits from the constact list?  I have seen edit mode and inline editing but that will take alot longer than if there was a way to edit multiple entries at once.

Are there any ways to do this in Act!  Will I have to buy a add-on for it?

Thank in advance, Stephen.

Re: Editing multiple entries from Edit Mode?

Hello Spencer,

If I were you I would:

  1. Create a lookup of a given set of contacts that must have same data in a given field and...
  2. Use "Edit > Replace Field"

I hope this helps.
