Editing Templates

Hi,

 

I am using Act! 10.0, with Word 2003.

To edit a template I use the following steps:


  1. In Act!, I select "Write" | "Edit Template...", and choose one of the pre-existing templates (i.e. Fax Cover Page)
  2. This opens the template in Word, but I do not get a dialog box in Word called "Add Mail Merge Fields".  How can I get this box to open if it does not appear automatically?


Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You sayyou are using ACT 10. you might try by updating to 10.03 update and see if this resolves the problem. Failing this do a detect and repair in Word may resolve the problem.
