Editing Act.Dashboard.DataChart.xml

Hi all,

I'm editing Act.Dashboard.DataChart.xml, modifying the default "Recently Edited Contacts" template to bring up different Contact info.(I copied this code and renamed it).

I managed to grab some different Contact fileds for the results but I can't work out some others. For example I want to show the "county" but neither "C.[COUNTY]" nor "C.COUNTY" works. I did manage to display the field "C.[DATE QUOTE OUT]" so I know modifying it works.

So

a) Am I using the wrong syntax

b) How do I foind out the internal field names of the contact and other tables?

Thanks!

Re: Editing Act.Dashboard.DataChart.xml

I discovered that "STATE" works for "COUNTY" in Europe.... strange little bug.

But what about grabbing other internal fleld names from Contact?

One of the best resources for discovering field names is the field detail report that you can get from the diagnostic utility. From the database list you can right click on a database and choose reports -> field detail report, this will give you the fields name, and the OLEDB column name associated with it.
