we have a rather peculiar problem and I am unable to fin its source.
First things first, we use:
- Act! v20 Pro
- the latest Outlook Client
- gmail as our provider
- our templates use the .tpl format
When we are doing a mail merge for more than one person, the email for each person appears as sent twice. The receiver only gets one, so at least that is no problem, but the they are recorded twice in Gmail and in Outlook.
If we perform a mail merge for a single person, even with the same template, this does not occur.
I found this solution online.
However, those measures were already applied.
Does anyone know, why this has happened? Apparently this problem was noticed only last week and it did not happen before.
I tested this on two different PC's, it happens on both.

Thank you for your reply!
We specifically chose .tpl due to some formatting issues with .adt.
However, I checked wether it would make any difference. Sadly, it does not. There are still duplicate mails in the "sent" folder.
