Duplicate checking turned on. Selection criteria selected. ACT 2010 v12 returns the following error message:
Value Cannot Be Null
Parameter Name: SortCriteria
Please advise... more issues in other areas...

Your login name to the database needs to be exactly the same same as your My Record contact field. For example, if your login name is "jsmith" but your contact field on your My Record is "John Smith" you can get this error. Just change the login name to "John Smith" (or change the my record contact field to "jsmith")

I have a similar problem. I get the value cannot be Null as well as I am unable to go to tools-preferences-admin and duplicates. It is grayed out. I tried using the admin log in but it does not work. Any tips? I am unable to create groups of any kind!
