Hello Bander143,

Welcome to the Sage ACT! Online Community!

Within the program, there is no functionality for retaining the color associated with an activity when exporting it to Excel (or TXT/CSV file).  There may be an add-on that will do it, but I can't say definitely.  To view add-ons, visit this web site: ACT! Add-ons

Re: Download to excel and keep colors

You might post a request for this feature to be considered for a future version here -
http://community.act.com/t5/SHARE-YOUR-IDEAS/idb-p/ideas

Input from this web page goes directly into a database that management has direct access to read, and which they also track and gather statistics on. It also allows other users to vote on these so Sage can get an idea of the demand

This article might help word the request to make it easier for management to look at it:

Thank you for taking a moment to show me where to share ideas. Been using ACT since DOS days but now my needs are getting more intensive.

Re: Download to excel and keep colors

We have developed an add-on for ACT which allows you to Export the task list to excel with color. In fact our add-on allows a more robust set of color rules such as make the activity green if the user is "Chris Huffman" or make Blue if the contact lives in the state of New York. We support Excel 2003,2007 and 2010

You can download the free trial from our web site:

Hope this helps
