Hi, there. When I log in to Act! 2011, the log in screen appears and I log in successfully. However the application is "hidden" and does not show up, yet the application is shown like it is "minimized" on the windows tool bar.
I click on the tool bar icon with the open Act! application, and it quickly flashes across the tool bar from Left to Right, or Right to Left. Yet nothing appears on the main display.
How can I restore the applcation so that it displays properly. It seems to be permanently minimized.
I have done something to create this problem. The app worked perfectly for the last couple of years.

Hi Floor Guy,
I've had this issue for a number of apps, not just ACT!.
The solution I use is this freeware app called Sheepdog, it "rounds up the windows" and puts them all back onto the one monitor.
I wrote about it here: http://ben.hamilton.id.au/windows/sheepdog-rounds-up-windows
See this thread here: http://community.act.com/t5/ACC-Discussions/Act-Screen-position/m-p/172353#M8397

When I had posted, re-booting did not help. I put my Win 7 on Mac Parallels to rest and left it.
I was going to try your suggestion. Without any intervention or attempt to try your solution, Act! opened properly and was visible. I can't explain why this happened.
I was going to try a "repair" of installation to see if this was going to work. I think a re-install had helped on a prior problem.
Thank you for the quick reply, though!
