I have a client who is using ACT 2009 with a large contact database. There are certain clients that need to be flagged for various reasons when the record is accessed. Is there anyway to create a pop up message when a contact record is accessed in ACT. It could be something as simple as "Please see client specific notes on this contact".
Thank you in advance for any help.

There is a edit date system field. This could be assigned to a dynamic group (Criteria for group would be if last edited by=today) However, this may be more intrusive than is acceptable.
What about putting a check box called alert. Any time the contact record needs to be looked at, have someone check this box, then make a dynamic group called alert. All of the contacts would show up here. Once the person has looked at the contact, they simply deselect the box.
Nothing too technical, but it should work really well.

Maybe you should have a look at http://www.smartnotesforact.com/ as this can have a specific note for a single or multiple contacts as a popup
