I'm sort of surprised that DialIT has the same issue. That would seem to imply that the problem was with the Windows Dialer but you would think if the problem was with the Windows Dialer then the problem would exhibit itself when you were using Outlook to dial. I've been toying with the idea of writing a TAPI interface for ACT! but it hasn't gotten much further than that. I have a colleague who has done a little bit of work in that area that could probably write something for you. His website is www.exponenciel.com. Did you try getting with DialIT to troubleshoot the problem with their software?

Yeah, they insisted the problem was not with their software, if I recall. So did my phone provider about their TAPI driver. Kinda stuck, and it is so irritating. I even tried switching from Windows 8 Pro 64-bit to Win 7 Pro 32-bit to see if that would make a difference, but it hasn't seemed to so far.
