When I bring up the "Detailed View" of any contact, I get an obscured screen (see screen shot). If I go to "List View" and then back to "Contact View", it is no longer obscured. This will get old very quickly?

Definitely make sure your video driver is up to date, but also check your Hardware Acceleration - it may need to be decreased. Here is an article with instructions: KB Article 16471

I successfully updated my video card and also decreased hardware acceleration as suggested. This completely solved my issues. Thank to Roy Laudenslager and gmartin!
