When trying to edit and save a contact layout, I get an error message saying my access to the path is denied. I have logged in as the admin and still get the same error message. Any suggestions? I am new to ACT!, so pardon any ignorance on my part.

This is a local or shared database? If its shared, try doing your changes on the server itself. This may be a permissions issue and you'll need to give proper permissions to the database files folder.
The database files folder is located where you keep the database. Default location is My Documents\ACT\ACT for Windows.
