Deleting old users

I converted my Act 2010 database from an old version and now I have invalid users but when I try to make them inactive or delete them I get the following message:

Internal Query processor error: The query processor encountered an unexpected error during execution

How do I get rid of old users??

Re: Deleting old users

Never mind. Duplicating the database with a new name & performing maintenance solved the problem

Re: Deleting old users

Here is an article with steps for resolving the error message (database maintenance and rebuild preferences): KB Article 24159.

Once the error is resolved, try removing the user(s).

Re: Deleting old users

When I try Actdiag it fails to connect to the sql server & I get the following message which refers to an old databse & I'm unable to point to the correct version:
System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Unable to open the physical file "E:\Admin\Act Data\Act03-2011\BobG.ADF". Operating system error 3: "3(The system cannot find the path specified.)".
Database 'BobG' cannot be opened due to inaccessible files or insufficient memory or disk space.  See the SQL Server errorlog for details.
File activation failure. The physical file name "E:\Admin\Act Data\Act03-2011\BobG.ALF" may be incorrect.
