Delete Act 10 Database

Search is my friend. Found solution for how to delete an act database, but the link doesnt take me to the recourse page, only to the main Sage Knolegebase. Do a search on Delete act database and nothing comes up.

Can anyone offer some help on how to do this?

You're likely seeing a URL like this:

http://kb.sagesoftwareonline.com/cgi-bin/Sagesoftwareonline.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=2566...

The key part is the p_faqid=xxxxx

Take that number and put it at the end of this URL (replace the 'xxxxx').

http://kb.swiftpage.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/xxxxx

In short, Sage haven't played nicely with the community after selling Act! to Swiftpage and allowed the URL's to redirect to the new location.

Thanks the link worked no worries. but it went to a page that describes how to fully remove the ACT program. I am only seeking to remove/delete a database file, not the entire program.

Open the database you want to delete.

Go to Tools|Database Maintenance|Delete Database.
