Database will not open

I have ACT! 2010. I moved my database to another hard drive and attempted to open it.  ACt! asked for a password.  The database is not password protected and I could not open it.  What should I do?  Thank you for your help.

I reformated the old hard drive in order to try to save it.  So I cannot open the old database.

Hello sandyfinsilver,
When you get to the login screen for your database, try using different variations of your first and last name (or just your first name) for the username, and leave the password blank.

Examples:
James Smith
Jim Smith
JamesS
JimS
Jim

The only other option is to use an internal Support password reset utility. Please see your Private Messages in this forum for more information.
