I have been using Act 2010 on a daily basis for several months. I have over 400 leads installed, went to access them today and my database appears to have disappeared and I'm being asked for a username and password that I've never had to do before. can you pleas offer advice :-/

It's hard to determine what exactly is causing this, but here are some basic steps to try:
- Reboot computer > attempt to open database
- Ensure 'SQL Server (ACT7)' service is running, if not > start it, then attempt to open database. Here is an article with instructions: KB Article 28216
- The user name and password will be prompted if:
1. There is more than 1 active user defined to the database
2. If a password is used.
Since you hadn't been prompted for a password before, most likely there isn't one - enter variations of your name (ex: First Last, FirstLast, FirstInitial Lastname, etc.), leaving the password blank. When you opened the database to your 'My Record', the name entered on your My Record is most likely the same as your user name.
