I have an old ACT! 8 database created in an English act. (Created by my successor)
Last week I bought ACT! by Sage 2008 (10.0) Versie 10.0.1.199 Dutch (Netherlands) so this is in Dutch language.
When opening this database I get the message "the application and database have a different language, only the databases of witch the language is the same as the application can be opened".
Is there any way to switch the language of the database to Dutch?
Can I startup my act (Dutch) in English language?
Thanks in advance

No one knows why ACT! was designed this way, but it's not possible to open a database built with one version of ACT! with a different country version of ACT!.
I do know of a couple of European ACCs who can swich the database for you... if you deal with an ACC, try and ask them, or ask Ingo at http://www.crmaddon.com/en/contact/contact.html
