I have lost the connection between Word 2003 and my Act Database. My version is ACT! by Sage 2008 (10.0) Version 10.0.3.182, Hotfix 1
If I try to set up a templete, and I try and open the Act Fields, I get the following message: Could not connect. The Act Application is not running.
Likewise if I'm a Word Doc and want to attach to a file, when I go to the Act memu drop down I get a similiar message. The only way I can attach a file to a record is to to to ACT History and click on Attach File and find the file to attach.
This feature use to work, but broke several months ago. I have reported it before and tried some suggested repairs without success.
I thought I would try again.
