Data transfer from Sungard Contact Partner to Sage Act Pro 2011

I have a substantial database of clients in Contact Partner that needs to be transferred to Act Pro.

Does anyone have the specifics of the step by step process to do this. I am not technical but I have someone to help me if I have complete instructions.

Thank you,

Rob

I've not heard of that product ... can the database be exported? In what formats?

I have the same problem.  Sunguard no longer supports their Contact Partner CRM which was written with Access.  We need to mine the information from the database in order to transfer the data to Act.  Isn't there someone at Act that can facilitate the process?

Hello ejdpietro,
Welcome to the Sage ACT! User Community. Unfortunately, Sage does not provide data conversion/migration services from third-party applications. As Mike said, you would need a tool like Import IT: http://www.actaddons.com/products/2005/crm_importit_pro.asp

Note: Effective 6/1/13, Sage no longers provides support for the Act! software. This is now provided by Swiftpage.

A good product that we use from time to time is OakMerge. We have found it reliable and cost effective.
