Running Act Pro 2012
I have created a custom activity in Act with it's own RESULTS as well. It works well, creating a history in the contact record when I complete/clear it, however, I'd like it to be included in the "Contact History Count By History Type" dashboard graph report as one of the Histories - can I do this?
If I can't get it to be one of the histories in this specific dashboard graphs, then how about a report at least?

You should be able to do that is the dashboard and it definitely can be done in a report provided you edited the results on your custom activities to make the results unique. If you used the default results of Completed/Not Completed, you won't be do the tracking.

So for example, if my custom activity is "FOLLOW UP CALL" and I simply have "COMPLETED" or NOT COMPLETED", it will not have a distinct reference in the dashboard history graph. But if I make the possible results be, "FOLLOW UP COMPLETED" or "FOLLOW UP NOT COMPLETED", then they will show in the dashboard history graph - correct?

I just tested it - very nice!!!
One last question - does Act allow me to choose which history events are included/excluded in the dashboard report entitled, "Contact History Count By History Type". I don't care to see the data related to fields changed, etc.

I don't know, I'm more familiar with the reports.
