Daily Reset Accept Incoming Synchs - It Must Have Been Something I Set

While I am able to synchronize my remote and main database, as a signle user, I have to reset the accept incoming synch marker under tools.

I first open the System Tray, stop synchronization, go to ACT and click on accept incoming synchs.  That works.  But I suspect not the way it is supposed to be.

An the last time the sync finished, it picked up all the details of a new contact record, but it didn't get the contact's name.

Any ideas folks?  I can live with it ths way, but certainly not my desired.

You mention "I first open the System Tray, stop synchronization", what exactly are you stopping?

Is this occurring after rebooting the publisher computer? It may be that the port is not available at the time Sage ACT! is trying to load/allow sync. Try changing to a different port (ex: 65200) and see if that helps. You'll also have to change the port in the remote (Sync Panel > Manage Connection Information).
