When using US Regional Settings on a Windows PC running the Canadian version of Act! (v20.0), the process of importing one database into another will experience problems with dates. I am presuming that the differing formats between Canadian and US dates is the issue.
Would it be safe to change the Regional Settings to English (Canada) temporarily in order to do an import or would that cause other issues?

Decided to change the Regional Settings to English (Canada) permanently. Import worked fine and no other problems have arisen with either the Publisher or Subscriber databases (to date).
