I would strongly recommend that any sort of template that is developed for one data base be shared with all other databases that the customer has. Presently the client has to cut and paste the template to multiple databases.

For what it's worth, when a user has multiple databases that all use the same layout it indicates a fundamental problem with the database design. That said, the ACT! 3-6 versions did share layouts with all databases on the system. This was a constant source of calls to technical support where a customer would modify the layout for one database and find that they'd broken the layout for another database. IMHO the present system is far superior.

I could agree with you in some circumstances. In my particular situation with one user working with multiple databases it is difficult to cut out the time to move as an example a custom envelope template to each database.
