I have created 3 new custom Activity Types for the Calander, and I would like to add custom images, e.g. have travel have an areoplane image beside it, rather than the generic calander with a couple of lines on it.
From what I can see on the knowledge base, it needs to be a .ico, however when converted to either 32x32 or 16x16 .ico the image will not display on the calander.
Can you advise what the exact specs should be to add a custom image for ACT! v17.1.169.0, Hot Fix 3?
Thanks

Thank you for bringing up this issue. Swiftpage told me they did not plan to fix that problem until V19? after I made them aware of it.

Hi All,
I have tested creating a custom activity and assigning a custom .ico using Act v18.1. This icon was then correctly displayed in the monthly calendar view.I am not aware of any issues with this in v17 either. See below
The .ico should be 16x16 pixels. Try using this online converter to resize and create the .ico files: http://image.online-convert.com/convert-to-ico
I've previously posted about this in another thread: http://community.act.com/t5/Act-Premium/Editing-History-Type-how-to-add-icon-to-new-activity-history...

Hi Bill,
I'm sorry, I had forgotten about this post and defect. However I'm not currently able to replicate the issue on my machine running v18.1, although the defect (D-03899) is currently still outstanding.
Are you running v18.1, and if so, have you tried setting a custom icon since updating?

Hi Gary,
That was the image converter I was using, and I tried both a 16*16 and 32*32 but neither worked. Is the answer currently that it just doesn't work just now for v17? Just so I know is all
Thanks

Hey Gary,
What operating system are you using to successfully create these icon images for ACT! v17?
I am using Windows 7 Pro..
also maybe there is something about your actv18 environment that allowed your test to work on your actv17?
Thanks - Bill
