Using ACT Pro 2012. When attempting to "Create a Comapny from Contact" under "Contacts" menu, i receive the following message:
X Object reference not set to an instance of an object
The database was created from an ACT database usind in ACT 2007 Premium for Workgroups. I had ACT tech support remotely move the database from an old PC to the new PC with the new version of ACT. All other functions seem to work fine. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Have also just upgraded to 2012 Premium version 14.2.108 & getting the same message when trying to Create company from a contact. Knowledgebase article # 24350 which refers to this error message does not give a solution to this instance. Has no one got a fix for this?
