Create a column in Contact Activities?

Hi,

 

Is it possble to add a customised column into the Activities tab on the Contact View? I am customising our layout and curently we have the following columns:

 

Cleared

Type

Recurring

Date

Time

Priority

Scheduled With

Regarding

Details

Attachment

Private

Associate With

 

I would like to have an additional column which shows the day the activity took place to go alongside the date. There isn't a default option for this and I can't find how to create a customised column in this tab. Is this possible?

Sorry, I don't understand. I'm wanting to see the date and day of a meeting on the calendar listed below the contact. I can see the date and meeting in the Activities tab, but in the History tab it only appears to show me the changes made to the contact.

 

Do you mean that I can create a column which will display the required information in the History tab?

Hi Gemma,

 

The History tab shows (obviously) the history associated with that Contact.

 

This will include the Activity only when the Activity is cleared.

Hi!

 

I understand that once an activity is cleared it will show in the history tab, and that this will also show the date. My question however, is can we add a column to show the day of the activity. So it will say 31/03/2016, Thursday, Meeting X rather than just the date?

Ahhh ... You mean the day of the week. Sorry, no. It only displays the short date

Mike is right, that's not an option with the ACT!  program. It's actually just a display choice and in reports I can show the date the way you want. It's possible that a third party addon or plug in could offer you that option. A good vendor to check with would be Durkin Computing.
