I start Act and after loading, there is login with the act logo. Then nothing. I think the data are corrupted in the compagny. Is there a way to start it without having to load any compagny?

This may be due to a damaged preferences file. Follow the steps to manually rebuild the file found in the bottom half of this Knowledgebase article:
