Conversion to iMac with Parallels

My PC crashed and I made the switch to Mac.  I'm running parallels with Windows 7 and now ACT downloaded and installed.  Can anyone help me restore my database from my Carbonite backup?

Re: Conversion to iMac with Parallels

Go ahead and reinstall your ACT program, Then look at your carbonite for your ACT backup.  There is a good chance that Carbonite may not have your ACT database because it doesn't back up files in use. The ACT SQL portion keeps the files in use unless you stop SQL. Basically, you are looking for a .alf, a .adf and a supplemental files folcer.  IF you had made a backup before, you would look for a .zip file with your database name.

Here is a short article on what is necessary to restore an ACT database when there is no backup.
