Conversion has been halted

Trying to upgrade my datatbase from Act 6.03 to 2014.  I am getting the following message.  The process cannot access the file pre7actdb.adb because it is being used by another process.

I am doing this on my XP computer.  Once this is completed, I'll be moving this to my Windows 7 computer.

I have run all the maintenance deframent and clean up prior to trying the the upgrade.  Also rebooted too.

How do I get past this point?

Thanks

This is the result from  my initial search on the Knowledgebase. There are options.

You probably want to insure that act!6 is not running.

Re: Conversion has been halted

Best suggestion, restart the computer, open only ACT! 2014 and then try the conversion.
