One of my remote users added 2 new Groups to our database and added several contacts to each group. After syncing, she can see her Groups are still there but the contacts are not in the Groups.
I can see the Groups and the contacts on the Publisher database.
She is the Record Manager for the contacts. The Groups are marked Public.
We are running ACT 2010 Standard on Windows 7.
Thanks!

Ok, let's recap...
She is remote, added a couple of new groups. She added some contacts to each statically (i.e. - not via dynamic rules).
Then she synced and then her groups were empty? True? While the master now shows the groups with the member contacts, yes?
When was the last time that maintenance has been run on both of these databases?
Are there other remote databases being used?

Thanks for your response. Your summary was spot on.
I run maintenance about once a week on the Publisher database. Are Standard remote users also supposed to run maintenance on their own databases?
There are several other remote users/databases. I have not had a chance to have them check to see if they have the new Groups with contacts. Only a couple of us have access to all contacts. Most users have a defined sync set where they only get the contacts where they are the Record Manager.
The user experiencing this issue IS the Record Manager of these contacts that she put into groups.

Can the remote user see the contacts (via Contact Lookup)? If she can, if she clicks on the Groups/Company tab on the Contact Detail screen, does the group membership show? If that shows appropriately, double-check the filters in the Group View to make sure all contacts are being shown, etc.
If the contacts are not in her remote, then somehow the sync set info could be eliminating them from her remote. Have you tried a lookup/advanced/Sync Set - and select hers - to see what records should be going to her?
Just a few suggestions!

Sometimes it takes an additional sync - or even just a close out and back into ACT! to refresh.
Glad she sees them!

That's right. And having multiple users who sync can further complicate this as the sync logic is working to keep things in order of timing of updates/edits to the dataset as a whole...
