I have noticed that recently contacts are going missing within Sage ACT. There are two users of the database and the database is syncronised onto the server. I am 110% sure that the contacts have not been deleted because there is no user history to indicate this. I think there are approx 10-20 contacts missing and i think they went missing over a 1-2 day period. I have noticed that it is only a certain type of contact that is going missing - that is contacts that have been promoted from a secondary contact. I followed the same cycle on all of the contacts that have gone missing;
created a company from the contact
linked the contact to the company
promoted a secondary contact from within original contact
linked the contact to the company (this is the contact that goes missing).
synced the database to the server
noticed that secondary contact that was promoted to primary is missing 1-2 days later.
If anyone else has had this problem please let me know. It is very unsettling to know that contacts can go missing from within Sage.
