I upgraded from Act 6.0 to 10.0 (2008) and after doing so I imported all my old contacts to the new version. In the old version (6.0) I had changed the last name (by using the drop down box) in some of the contacts to a familiar name. (The reason for this is that I am an attorney and used file names in the contact field). However, after importing my contacts to the new version, the drop down box in the contact field is locked, so I cannot do a "Look for" from the Contact List on any of the imported contacts. However, I can easily modify the newly created contacts (first name, last name, middle name). I just cannot do it with the imported ones. Any suggestions?
