I am on Act 2008 under Vista Business 32 bit. I searched the forums and did not find the exact same issue I have. Every time I create a new Contact, my entire datbase uses that contact as the Record Manager for all my Contacts. Worse, I cannot change it. When I attempt to change it by using Edit | Replace and choose Record Manager as the field, the only value that is available is the existing Contact Manager. My thought was that the Record Manager should be myself, as I am the only one on this system. Help! Is there some corruption here? I am logging in as myself and I'm not sharing the database with anyone.
