Contact appearance

I am a brand new user and I have imported all of my contacts from Outlook and I have two questions:

 

1) Why do the names of most of my contacts show up as a contact with only the name and then a seperate contact with all the info?

2) Is there a way I can make my list of contacts appear like the "busines card" default in Outlook?

The way the contacts from Outlook were entered and exported is probably the reason it did not come over correctly.  I usually suggest exporting to Excel first, then clean up the data before you bring it into ACT!.  You can customize the layout to include logos, a business-card feel, and customized fields.  Brenda

Just for clarification to the prior response - Act! does not by default have a 'Business Card' view for contacts.  You can customize a contact layout (Tools -> Design Layouts -> Contact).  Be sure to save the new layout to a new name prior to making changes so that you do not lose your default layouts...
