Configure ACT for SQL

Hi there, My company has a policy against non-compliant databases, in this case we use SQL. I would like to know how to configure ACT to use a different d/b other than the one that it is packaged with? Thanks in advance.

Re: Configure ACT for SQL

ACT can use only MS SQL Server/SQL Express

Re: Configure ACT for SQL

How do you configure it to use another SQL d/b? we have a clustered SQL environment that I want to leverage for the d/b. Would you just edit the .pad file to point to the (clustered)SQL d/b?

Re: Configure ACT for SQL

You would need the Premium EX version, I think... and SQL 2005

Assuming you have SQL 2005 Standard, this is the method to manually create the SQL instance for ACT! - http://tinyurl.com/27jr9f
