I'm running ACT! by Sage 2010 Version 12.0.409.0, Hotfix 3, on Window 7 machine. Earlier this morning, everything was running fine and everyone could access the shared database from the server. Right now, everyone can still access all shared drives and everything else from the server, but can't open ACT. The error message says: "The database TCS4 could not be accessed. In order to access this database, check your network connection and verify that your database server is available. It may be necessary to disable any firewall software on your compuer or the server." I tried renaming the PAD file in hopes that when I launched via the ADF file, it would recreate. Didn't happen. I got a message that said it couldn't find the previously opened database. Not sure what to do next. Any help would be appreciated.

The first step is to get the database to open on the server. To do this please open Act! go to file > open/share database. In the new window please the database should no longer be listed, go to the bottom left side and click the database I want is not listed. Change the drop down to .adf and locate your database and attempt to open it. Once open try opening the shared databases.
Respond back if you get an error or are unable to open it on the server.
