Compatability with Open Office

Is ACT compatable with or is there a way to use Open Office instead of Microsoft Word for word processing?

Thanks

Nope...

You might post a request for this feature to be considered for a future version here - http://www.act.com/community/feature

Input from this web page goes directly into a database that management has direct access to read, and which they also track and gather statistics on.

Thanks Mike.....

And I don't suppose there is any way to sync the ACT & outlook contact folder information?

I know you can sync the calendar activities.

Re: Compatability with Open Office

I believe Companion Link can do this... but you can also get dupicates.

Outlook doesn't maintain the same UniqueIDs or fields that ACT! does and so, if you modify the fields in Outlook that it uses for dupe checking, it doesn't realise it's the same record and creates a new one.

Going one way (ACT! to Outlook) would work ok
