I have got following problem. In my Sage Act! Database I have some Company records with inactive Record Manager field.
I tried to create a "Duplicate" record from this company and in this new record field is active. I also revised other record, present in my database I have a lot of records, created by this user, having the same Record manager but they are active.
What parameter influence readonly status of this field?
In what way I can change it?

Record Manager fields will be read only if you are a user with a security role of Standard or lower and you are not the record manager of said record. When you duplicate a record, you are the Record Manager for the duplicate, thus you are able to alter the Record Manager field. If you log into the database as an Administrator, does the Record Manager still appear to be read only?
