We have ACT 2008 v 10.0.1.199
Each time we clear an activity (i.e. log a history against a call, meeting etc) it then disappears from the calendar completely. On Preferences, scheduling preference, clearing activity is set to strikeout but still they disappear.
My salesmen want to be able to look at, say, last months calendar and check on their whereabouts but the calendars are blank
Is there any way of clearning an activity and leaving it on the calendar struck through? What I am missing?
Checked the manual and help but hit a dead end!

On all of the calendar views, including Activities tab and Task List, there is an 'Options' button in the upper right area. Click on the Options button and select 'Show Cleared'. This will allow the cleared items to display (with the strikethrough).
